Dropbox makes your files accessible from anywhere in the

world


It’s a great back up system


And keeps your files in sync


Here’s how:


Open your browser


Google in this example


Type dropbox.com here



This appears

Sign up for an account


Click “sign up” when done



Download begins



If it doesn’t, restart the download

You will then see this…

When installation is done, this appears


You have two options:


Remember the account you made earlier?


Choose the 2nd option

Fill in your email & password


Choose a name for your computer

Choose a place for Dropbox in your computer

Look at the arrow


The Dropbox Notification Area Icon


Then you see this:


Click “Next”


This appears


Click “finish”


Dropbox will start synching your files


You can add files to your dropbox by dragging it


Or right click on the file then click here


The file is now in your dropbox


Now, let’s check the dropbox online account

Go to dropbox.com

Fill in your email & password


Click on “sign in”

Clicking here shows you these:

How to share folder

There are two options:

Highlight the folder you want shared

Decide who you want to share the folder with


You also have the option to let other members share it


Uncheck the box you so you’re the only one who can invite others


You can import contacts by clicking here

Or you can just type in the e-mail address


Hit “send invites”


You will see this on your desktop screen


When you click you will find this:


Let’s check your dropbox.com account


After you sign in, click on sharing


You will see this


You have just shared your folder!


Hmm… but did your friends see it already?


Check the status of your invite!


From this window, click here


You will see this

It leads you to this window


They have not joined yet


You have the option to:


I’m sure you want to qualify for that 250 MB

We need to complete one more task


How to invite friends to join dropbox


Click to “get started”


It will take you here


Click here


Once done, this appears


Choose how you want to invite friends


In this case, I choose to enter email addresses


Click “Send invites”


You will then see a notification in your

desktop dropbox icon that you’ve earned

250 MB!


You can also check it in your dropbox.com

account


When you sign in, and click on get started,


You see this:


Isn’t that great? You can also install dropbox in

your mobile device
