How to Sign Up

Open your preferred browser and type hootsuite.com


You will be directed to this page

Sign up for free by clicking here

Fill-in the details


Think of a strong password


Click “Create Account”


You will be asked to connect your social network


Click on the social network of your choice (in this example, Twitter)


You will be asked this


Enter your twitter email & pasword


Click “Authorize App”


You have just connected hootsuite to your twitter


Click “Continue”


This page then appears

How to Add a Stream

Go to this tab (Click!)

Click on the social network that will post your message

Click compose message


Type your message


Click “Send Now”

Click “Compose Message”

How to view Scheduled Messages


Remember the launch menu?


Click “Publisher”


Here you are shown your scheduled message


How to Edit Scheduled Messages


Go to launch menu


Click “Publisher”

Click the Edit (pencil) icon


This window shows up


Edit your message


Click on “Save Changes”


This message appears


How to Delete Scheduled Messages


From the Launch Menu, click “Publisher”

Click “Ok” if you’re sure




How to Add Apps to Your Dashboard

Go to Getting Started Tab


Click “Install Apps”

Choose the app you want to add


Scroll down


I will add YouTube in this example


Click “Install App”


App installed!


Click on your preferences

Your YouTube Tab


Connect with YouTube, click here


Sign in to your gmail account




Click “Grant access”


You can now monitor your YT videos thru Hootsuite
