Dear Friends & Colleagues,

It is my privilege to write this message to all of you. I am

a person who always likes the “personal contact” with

our colleagues, but, while I have not had the chance to

meet most of you in person yet, I already feel that

Dusters is a part and parcel of the SIS family, and SIS is

part of the Dusters family! It is very important in any

merger of companies that the cultural fabrics remain

intact, and gets strengthened day by day. I am happy to

hear and see that the SIS-Dusters merger is on the right

track of cultural integration. The values of SIS and

Dusters are very similar – customer is king and hence

customer service is paramount, and this can only be

done by employees who are accountable, professionals,

and work in team spirit with integrity. In short, we

should focus on getting the right employees, giving

them the right support, value systems and

environment, and they will take care of the customers. I

always say that you take care of your employees well,

they will take care of your business well. I am very

confident that the combined strength of Dusters and

market differentiator. I wish each one of you the very

best for future, and will look forward to hearing the

DTSS Celebrates SIS Foundation Day

DTSS celebrates SIS foundation day on 22nd September across all offices

Note from Mr RK Sinha, Honourable Member of Parliament, Chairman and Founder of SIS Group

He started the journey of SIS Group about forty years ago when he left his job as a journalist and which has now

become a 5000 cr group. His emotional touch with every employee is legendary and hence on his birthday, 22nd

of September, the staffs all across the group fondly cherish and celebrate the day as Founders Day. He sends his

personal best wishes and greetings to the entire Dusters team today and hopes to come and address the team

here in person very shortly

Business Development Accomplishments

The Sales Team continued its client acquisition mode in

the 2nd Quarter too, achieving INR 2.03 Crores against

the Q2Goal of INR 1.80 Crores, setting the pace for the

current Financial Year.

The Sales team was bolstered by the inclusion of

Suneer Prakash , AVP – Strategic Accounts , who will

focus on winning new Key and Strategic Accounts , and

also infused a fresh look into the West , with the

inclusion of J.Krishnakumar, AVP – Business

Development for West, Zoheb Kazi, Sr Manager for

Pune and Rest of Maharashtra. We do believe that

their inclusion will only accelerate the growth of our

business in the 2nd half of the year.

We enhanced our presence in the East by consolidating

our presence in the Healthcare and Hospitality sector

by acquiring prestigious new accounts such as JW

Marriott Kolkata, Novotel Kolkata and Westin @

Kolkata , besides expanding our relationship with

Medica by commencing our services @ Medica Gamma

and Medica Ohio @ Kolkata

We were also successful in bidding in the RFP for

Reliance Jio and winning the contract for IFM services

for the whole of Karnataka and Kerala, an approximate

monthly billing of around INR 50 lakhs per month

The Sales team also had their Quarterly Sales meet @

Mumbai on 9th September 2016, wherein they were

energized by the presence of Mr Jasmer Puri , our Joint

Managing Director, and a Sales workshop conducted by

Mr Sai Prasanna. The workshop focused on enhancing

the skill sets and capabilities of the Sales team , and also

on Client Engagement and building up the Sales pipeline.

The meet also had some interesting role plays and

business situations where the team was involved in

simulating actual business scenarios.

The focus for the Sales team in Q3 will be new client

acquisitions and building up a strong business funnel to

achieve the Goals for H2

Highlights of the LEAP Program

• 23 sessions each of 1.5 Hours were covered over a span of last 3 months

- The session were covered by experts within the organization including MD, VP-Ops and CFO of the company

- Session on leadership was conducted by an external faculty

• Participation in the program was very encouraging. The attendance percentage among 22 participants stands

@ 85%

• 9 Online quizzes and 2 case study competitions were conducted. Average score is 5.1/10 in Quiz and Case study

• The program would culminate with 1 more session by 25-Oct

• Post completion of the program, similar development program to be conducted for Operations managers / ARM’s

• SBU heads who qualify in the periodic tests and the feedback sessions would be certified as

‘Certified Business Manager’ (CBM) in Oct

• SBU Heads who are unable to qualify the certification process will have to go through the performance

improvement plan

Today we had a banquet event for lunch to cater almost, 200 guest . From the Housekeeping team Mr. Kalidas Balram Shelar was manned for the gents washroom. He had found two guest belongings from which one was cell phone and another envelope for 5000 cash. which he bought notice to us. Which have been informed to security as well by Ms. Hetal. Same was conveyed to the host and the said belongings were returned to the concerned guest by the host. The Host Mr. Ashish Shah appreciated a lot for this honesty and concerned showed towards the guest. We also admire this, and applaud for the honesty of Mr. Kalidas.
