Introduction

As the president of Olson PR, Bryan Specht manages market expansion and business development. Under the leadership of Bryan Specht, the company focuses primarily on social media, advertising, and brand marketing.

Building a strong brand involves focusing on that brand alone and being reliably loyal to its promises. Determining the values, experiences, and qualities associated with a business and developing them into a clear brand creates a unique identifier, and once the brand has established its promises, it is important for the company to be consistent with them to ensure that customers do not get confused or become distrustful of the company.

Picking one direction for the brand is also important since it creates a clear image of what a company is projecting to customers.

Additionally, keeping a brand simple and either whimsical, descriptive, or evocative further avoids confusion. A short but memorable brand name that is easy to spell makes finding the company through search engines easier for customers, and also makes it easier to refer friends. Finally, it is important to keep in mind that brand building does not happen overnight; being patient, and continuing to communicate the brand's promise and image, improves the chances that the brand will grow.
