City Of Jacksonville MILITARY AFFAIRS and VETERANS DEPARTMENT Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program Qualifications 1. Veteran who served in the active military of the United States of America. (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines or Coast Guard) 2. Character of discharge must be verified to determine eligibility 3. Veteran must be homeless, living in temporary shelter or be in imminent loss of housing through eviction or foreclosure. Must have documentation of eviction or foreclosure. 4. The Veteran is at risk of homelessness and has insufficient resources immediately available to attain housing stability and is living temporally in the residence of another because of economic hardship. The person the Veteran is staying with must certify in writing to the temporary residency and they have not received any money or compensation from the Veteran for staying at the residence. 5. Must have DD-214 or VA Medical ID Card. HVRP Will Provide 1. Employment, Resume and Job Search Assistance 2. Interview Clothing for Job Search 3. Training where applicable 4. Tools and /or Uniforms for confirmed job 5. Transportation 6. State Licensing/certifications required for employment 7. Referral to possible temporary housing assistance is available if the Veteran meets the qualifications.
