The Mystery of

Storytelling

What is so mysterious about storytelling?

Or about a good story to be precise.

The Fact that it’s more about the

AUDIENCE

Than about YOU!

The storyteller of course.

We write to turn on the readers.…

To make them turn the page

We create

characters

to whom we

relate…

But we have to show infidelity to them….

Leave them when it’s all over.

BUT

Why?

What compels writers to pen their thoughts?(Both good or bad)

Research suggests most writers write because of

• Egoism• Immortality• Or simply to get back to people who put them down

Elephants,

birds and every

animal has it’s

own language

But do they have stories?

Now you can Decide what really matters.

Language or the Story.

There is no formula to a good story

But history do passes on some hints

A good story always have three pillars

Pity

Fear

This gives the writer the control

over the audience

CATHARSIS

Lastly,,

All good story

have a similar

pattern!

Struggling

Suffering

Overcoming…

But is it enough just to have a good storyline?

We need stories that can make

audience relate their

experiences

Get emotionally attach to it

We need

visuals to

support our

story

Because we believe what we see…..

Visuals turns

this

Into this!

Because in the

end

A good story is all about entertainment
