which displays typical Irish behaviour for TV Drama.• They all live in the countryside and venture outside

often, they are all very religious, very friendly with each other and certain characters like Dougal are less intelligent.

• All of these are typical of Irish stereotype in TV Drama.

• In Gavin and Stacey, they fit stereotypical Welsh TV Drama characters

• The welsh characters featured are uneducated and live in the countryside. This is typical of a Welsh stereotype, it shows their lifestyle clearly.
