Principle?How to Rebound

1.) Once you receive the ball, instinctively assume the triple-threat position to protect the ball. The triple threat position gets its name from giving you the option to pass, shoot or dribble. In the triple threat position, stand with your legs shoulder-width apart, knees bent, shooting hand on top of ball, and the off hand on the side of the ball. Your elbows should be bent outward at 90-degree angles.

Answer Key • Question #1- Bad example, there is no image to correspond

to the text, a novice would have a difficult time understand what to do.

• Question #2- Good example, the graphics is relevant to instructional purpose, rather than decorative. The visual could be more effective, but its still a good example of the multimedia principle.

• Question #3- Good example, graphic is placed near the printed text.

• Question #4- Bad example, corresponding printed words and graphics are not placed close to one another on the screen
