Anyone over 18 can join. Members under 45 years old are associate members and may not vote on Association Issues, or participate in age-restricted programs.

Who is ARA?

The discount benefits included as part of your ARA membership are not insurance.

To receive the discounted price, you can only go to providers that are in the program.

There are no papers to file. You pay for the service at the time it is rendered.

There are multiple cards included in the member kit. You need to use specific cards for specific benefits. The member guide specifically explains what to use and how to use it.

Things to Remember

To use the majority of the healthcare savings in the basic membership, you will need to present your Enhanced Benefits Card (or the EBC Card). This is included in the ARA member kit and is separate from the ARA member card.

This card is a 8 ½ x 11 piece of paper that has “Enhanced Benefits eMembership Card” written at the top.

Basic Plan

How to Use:1. Visit your doctor and get a new prescription. If you are able

to substitute generic drugs, make sure the prescription is filled out that way.

3. The first time you will have to set up your account. You are not in their system until you do this.
