1. Pray! Ask God to help inspire His wordsand message through you.

2. Check your heart attitude. Make sure yoursharing your testimony with love not

with pride or righteousness.

“If I speak in the tongues of men orof angels, but do not have love, I am

only a resounding gong or aclanging cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13:1

3. When righting your script make it as if youwere speaking to a friend. 

4. Don’t be Cliché or avoid usingChristianese for a more receptive approach:

5. Use at least one Bible verses, directlyrelated to your experience. 

Avoid speaking badly about denominations orchurches or people.

Share your personal God Love story, don’tpreach about what others should change or is

wrong in their life. The Holy Spirit is ALLMighty and will do the rest in them on Gods

timeline.

8. Try to keep it brief 5 to 7 min. You can gomore in depth as questions arise but youshould be prepared with a clear 5-7 min

testimony that you practice to memory so itsclear, precise and natural for you to share. 

“But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always beprepared to give an answer to everyone who asks youto give the reason for the hope that you have. But dothis with gentleness and respect” 1 Peter 3:15 (NIV)

When you share it, don’t expect a quickconversion or receptiveness, your job is toshare it with love, and continue to live outyour walk around them so that your life

mirrors your testimony. 

Don’t mislead people into thinking that after yourinitial conversion that all you difficulties vanished.Our God is not a genie the world is still fallen and

trials continue but God is mighty and in usstrengthens us through any storm. We are to makedisciples not converts that leave the Christian walk

when things get tough. 

“In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father inheaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good,and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike.” Mathew 5:45

Ask a friend to hear you practice and be open tosuggestions to make it more natural to share.

* When your ready to share it pray that God gives you HisWords and the courage to share it. Also try to invest in

people in your life that might not know Christ. Rememberthat Gods Word is always received more effectiveness if we

share it in love.
