It’s the year 2016, technology is constantly changing and improving.. there is no telling what the world has in store for us. However here are some examples of the type of technology we can expect.

Right now we have so much access to technology its crazy. It’s in our homes, school and work places, even in our cars. Some people probably do not think there can be much move advance in technology. We can almost do anything on our smart phones. We can change the TV channel, and turn our security system on. We have 3d televisions, Wifi in our cars and everything is working through bluetooth.. But yet there is still much more room to grow..

Critical mass theoryThe critical mass theory deals with how when a lot of people have something, it makes everyone want it. For example right now people would love to have a watch phone, but its only available on the Galaxy Note and iPhone, and most people do not like the size. When it become available to all smart phones, everyone is going to get it, and those who do not are going to want it because of everyone having it.

This will not be limit

to one brand or type

Anyone with a smart

phone can use it..

Watch Phone

Many people are familiar with the watches that are out for phones currently. However in the year 2025 all smart phones will come paired with a watch. This watch is going to go above and beyond. Anything you can do on your phone you will be able to do on the watch as well. There will even be a virtual keyboard. There will be different sizes and styles to fit everyone's taste. You can even customize it.

XBOX KINECT

Most are similar with the Xbox Kinect, it allows you to control a game without a controller, it’s a hands free controller to say the least. It recognizes body movement along with voice recogniztion. It also has a face detection where it can activate your account for you. Xbox Kinect will detect your face and pull up your profile with all of your information and games on there.

Home Kinect

The next thing that will take place will be a spin off from the Xbox Kinect, it will be called Home Kinect. It work off of an Xbox or similar device, however you will be able to do much more then you are currently able to on the xbox.

Features of Home Kinect

-When you walk in the house it will detect your face and tell you what you need to do for the day and the time you need to do it by. Examples:

clean the upstairs bathroom Put clothes in dryers Math homework

It will also work as a security system, cutting the need for one of those out. It will be able to work on phones, TVs and in your carIt will be able to help you make every day choices, such as what to where by knowing the weather or which way you should take to work depending on how bad the traffic is.It will keep all of your information private and only available to you and your family as added on there. It can help you think of recipes based on what is in your kitchenYou can ask if questions much like you can “Siri” on iPhones.

Media Dependency

The home connect is going to relate to Media Dependency because people are so dependent on the media. The media is going to hype the home Kinect up and make it seem like the greatest thing out there. Which it really would be because of all the technology it uses. Also people are going to become dependent on this because of all the capabilities in which it does offer.

Lap top learning in school

Currently today we are bringing technology into the class room more and more. Some have even been using laptops and tablet devices in the class room, and eBooks instead of textbooks.

iLearnIn 2025 you wont need notebooks, books and pencils. It will all be done on a laptop

All textbooks will be available on a laptop.

They will only need one laptop, which would also be able to fold up as a tablet as well, they can type or use a stylus to write as well.

Schools will provide the students with a laptop they are responsible for, the can buy insurance coverage incase anything was to happen.

They will have built in Wi-Fi, This would allow for the students to work on their school work anywhere.

Virtual classrooms will also be present in university's.

Social Learning

iLearn relates to social learning because of the advances in technology it is going to bring.

This is going to allow for web chats, and virtual classrooms to take place anywhere and at anytime.

You can speak with teachers and classmates out of the classroom on your laptop.

You will always have access to the classroom information.

In conclusion

With watch phones, Home Kinect and iLearn technology will be just as advanced as it can get.

It will make the world more accessible and everything will be at your fingertips.
