Account ManagementAccount Manager

Ross, our account manager, is the face of the Digital team. He graduated with a marketing degree and a minor in international business. He interacts with the leaders of each practice area, from infrastructure to sales, and owns the relationship between the client and the Digital team. Ross has sales experience and is very personable and strives to make sure that the relationship with the client is mutually beneficial. His day-to-day work involves client communications through emails, face-to-face conversations, and phone meetings. He is proactive and organized and follows-up with clients to make sure that their expectations are always met. If there are challenges in the account, he seeks out ways to improve the overall client communication process. Ross is an honest and transparent person—which helps him communicate clearly with clients on the status of projects and their relationship with NuGrowth Digital. Ross’ fun-loving, outgoing and empathetic personality is why he does such a great job relating to clients.

In his free time, Ross enjoys hiking and rock climbing with his daughters.

Have you met our production coordinator, John? He graduated with a degree in communications, and makes the wheels of the digital team bus go round and round. He manages all production—from graphics to content emails. John is in charge of quality control for all content pieces. He makes sure that all content goes out on time, without mistakes, and to the correct list. He works closely with clients to communicate time frames and adjust them accordingly if needed.

John was a soccer player in college and volunteers to coach youth soccer in his free time.

He is a digital marketer to the core, schooled in all things online. He is a strategic thinker, an organized person, and a good multi-tasker. His days typically consist of meeting with clients, preparing content strategy (think editorial calendar on steroids), managing accounts, writing briefs, editing copywriters’ work, using data to continually refine strategy plans, and reporting on content results.

Besides hanging out with his German Shepard, Roger, at the dog park, Mike enjoys reading, blogging and finding the finest cup of joe around town.

This allows him to create brand guidelines for clients in addition to infographics, ebooks, sales collateral, web graphics, and white papers. His humble personality is perfect for receiving client feedback.

Parker loves watching and playing sports in his free time. He also has been learning how to fix up old bicycles to resell.

Meet our front-end web developer, Tony. Tony graduated with a degree in visual communications and is the brains behind the beauty of our clients’ websites. Tony gets to know his clients’ businesses so he can design sites that match their brands and meet their goals. After gaining thorough knowledge of the audience for the website he’s working on, Tony creates wireframes and mock-ups for review by the client. After those are approved, he builds the website based upon what he has learned from the client feedback.

Tony loves gallery hopping around town and enjoys taking ski trips with his old college roommates.

Our CRM specialist, Carolyn works hand in hand with our data and web analytics specialists. Carolyn went to college to pursue a degree in computer science and graduated seven years ago. In her first job, she learned Salesforce and became interested in learning more about CRM and databases. In her current role, she is a Salesforce administrator and is in charge of case management, field customizations, dashboards, customized reporting, data scopes, data scrubbing, and handling delivery threats. She is also often the face of the infrastructure team in client meetings. She works closely with clients to understand their target audience so she can gather contact lists together with healthy and targeted data.

Carolyn enjoys spending time with her kids and taking them to the zoo.

Say hello to our marketing automation specialist, Ryan. Ryan went to college for marketing and had the opportunity to work in an internship where he learned about the functions of data and CRM specialists. He has a basic knowledge of Salesforce and CRM systems. His day-to-day work involves building HTML emails, sending marketing emails, making email performance reports, providing price estimates for data purchases, managing client email lists, and performing some data analysis. His understanding of HTML and Microsoft Excel allows him to assist the CRM specialists with building dashboards and other basic Salesforce functionalities which enable sales teams to measure results of campaigns and determine if their messaging is effective to engage prospects.

Ryan enjoys boating and stand-up paddle boarding with his two older brothers in his free time.

How We work as a TeamAs you can see, there are many players on a marketing team, and every role is just as important as the next to keep business moving smoothly. Now, you may be wondering how all of these roles impact and work together with one another—and that is a great question!

Follow this roadmap to see how words are designed into a beautiful marketing piece, distributed to the world, and then reported on to see the success of the campaign.

Side Note: Some projects require more web work or our videographer to step in. It all depends on the client, but all clients require a team of hard-working digital marketers.

Once the client approves the content piece, it is then sent off to the graphic designer who adds the visual elements.

The account manager and strategist first sit down with a client and the rest of the team and decide what services the client needs.

The content team then writes a marketing execution plan and content calendar to present to the client.

Once the plan is approved, the copywriter begins writing the first draft of a content piece—including the SEO specialist in keyword planning.

Then the content strategist edits the draft, sends it back to the copywriter, and sends the revised draft to the client for approval.

After the client approves the designed piece, the infrastructure team builds an email template and pulls together the lists of who the content piece will be sent out .

In the meantime, the web team is designing a landing page and posting the blog that introduces the content piece.

Once the email is sent out the analyt-ics team reports on how successful the campaign was and creates weekly and monthly reports to send back to the client.
