Bio of Dillon Wright, C.P.A. Dillon Wright is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana that graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 2001. Next, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Louisiana State University (LSU) in 2005. Upon graduation, Dillon worked for Deloitte in Dallas, Texas as a consultant and auditor. He returned home in 2007 where he spent seven (7) years as a member of the professional staff for a local CPA firm.

Firm Introduction. Wright Accounting & Consulting, L.L.C. is a start-up CPA firm in Shreveport, Louisiana that provides accounting, consulting, and tax services. The firm’s managing member, Dillon Wright, started the company in June 2014 after eight years in the public accounting industry. The firm intends to exploit an underserved market that is the result of demographic shifts and changes in societal norms.

Job opening – staff accountantDescription. Wright Accounting & Consulting, L.L.C. is seeking a staff accountant to assist the company with bookkeeping, payroll tax processing, and financial statement compilations.

Functions. Below are a select few responsibilities of this position: Assistance with tax return

preparation Work paper documentation &

organization Quickbooks data entry &

reconciliations Payroll processing, tax deposits, &

compliance reporting Fixed Asset schedule maintenance Client inquiry and relationship

development

Qualifications. Bachelor/Masters Degree in Accounting Minimum 3.0 GPA Proficiency with Microsoft Windows operating

systems & Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Outlook, Excel, Word, & Power Point)

Interest in learning new skills & teachable attitude

Compensation. In-line with competitive rates of the Shreveport/Bossier market.
