History 1969: Francesco Galesi acquired surplus military facilities in Upstate New York

and converted them into Industrial Parks

1970: Galesi Management Corporation was established for tenant and property management services for third party owners of commercial space

Early 70’s: the conversion of these properties subsequently led Galesi into the third-party logistics industry. Distribution Unlimited Inc. was created

Late 70’s: Expanded into manufacturing with the acquisition of 5 Midwest military subcontractors

Mid 80’s: Expanded into telecommunications with the eventual merger into Worldcom

Late 80’s: Development office opened up in Dallas, TX. Acquired apartments, commercial properties and land from lenders and the RTC. Expanded operations into Colorado, Florida, Georgia as well as throughout Texas

2000: The Galesi Group began the exploration, development and production of oil and natural gas in California, Texas and Louisiana

Today: Galesi Group is among the largest real estate development companies in New York State. Its extensive holdings include approximately 11 million sq. ft. of commercial space in the Albany area as well as property in New York City, California, Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Colorado, and Texas
