FITMAN Project Missions

Contributing to the Social-Technological-Economical-Environmental-Political sustainability (STEEP) of EU

Manufacturing Industries.

Provide FI PPP with a set of industry-led use case trials in Smart, Digital and Virtual Factories of the Future (FoF)

Test and assess the suitability, openness and flexibility of FI-WARE Generic Enablers.

One generic and flexible Trials Verification and Validation Framework, encompassing concepts, methods and tools for Manufacturing Trials

One FITMAN Generic Platform for Manufacturing Industries, as a collection of several Generic Enablers

Three FITMAN Specific Platforms as a collection of several Specific Enablers Implementations

Smart Factory Platform

Digital Factory Platform

Virtual Factory Platform

Ten FITMAN Trials Platforms as instantiation of the selected Generic and Specific Enablers for 10 industry-driven multi-sectorial Trials

Smart Factory domain covers the shop floor level of manufacturing with the automation of machines, robots, transfer between workstations, collection and management of data in order to develop agile manufacturing and to facilitate customization.
