Key Findings Our Millennials are not addicted, they are just curious. 78% of our Millennials reported that their experiences with drugs have been primarily due to curiosity. 59% of them had their first experience while they were in high school while only 6% waited until they were at least 21 years old.

Being proactive is the best way to move forward in the war on drugs. 70% of our Millennials believe that taking steps towards legalizing drugs and providing better education and treatment are the best solutions for the future. Although only 14% of our Millennials have every struggled with drug abuse, 83% of them know someone who has.

Our Millennials do not consider marijuana to be a dangerous substance and in fact, they think it is less harmful than alcohol. 76% stated that they had tried it at least once before and 47% said they used it within the last year. Only 31% said they considered marijuana to be dangerous with the next closest drug on the list, in terms of danger, being alcohol at 60%.
