How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary tasks?

I am pleased with the outcome of all three media products and feel that they are effective in their purposes. I have tried to combine the main product with the ancillary tasks by using the same elements

to link them together. For example we put the film production logo on the teaser trailer as well as on the film poster. All of the media

products work well together because by looking at all of them, you can clearly see what genre of film we are trying to promote. Each

of our products all has some same elements; the same main character and the same film name. By including these features

across our products it is showing that we can advertise the film using different advertising techniques and still include these

elements.

The main technique we have used throughout all three products is continuity. We have used continuity so the viewers can clearly see the link between all three products. However, there are only some links between two products as they don’t necessary have to have

the same elements.

Throughout all three products we have featured the same character so the viewers know who the main character is and who will appear the most. We have also used the same name across all

of the media products so then if the viewer has seen one of the products when they see the other product they will know they go together. Also we included the release date so then the viewers are constantly reminded of when the film will be shown in cinemas. We combined elements of just the two ancillary tasks because it

will create more interest. We have used the same image so again, the viewers know who will be shown throughout the most and we

have used the film name again so it will be recognisable to the viewers. We have also included the same credits so when people

see these advertisements, they can see which actors will be starring in the film. It is helpful to have these credits because some people only watch films with certain actors in. We combined elements of just the teaser trailer and the film poster because the film poster

will get published first. We again included the same film name so the readers recognise it, and we included the same tag line so that

it would make the audience want to watch the film to find out what will happen.
