Why do we make J Wingfield shirts?We became a manufacturer because of our DISRUPTIVE business model in the menswear apparel supply chain. The true cost of importing today’s apparel is not recognized by most major retailers.
Our ability to spin yarn, weave fabric, and stage fabric inventory for garment dye assortments – all in the USA - , cannot be matched by today’s current leaders in men’s manufacturing. Our ability to sew garments in the same manner as past shirt makers like CF Hathaway, Cluett Peabody and SERO, give us a proven, profitable road map to follow as we control the process from start to finish.
J Wingfield (named after the founder’s ancestor) is a crafted American brand for the contemporary man.

Inventory Turns & At Once OrdersHistorically, men’s shirts have had low inventory turns, especially now that most shirts are imported and reorders for fast selling items are virtually impossible.
Our model breaks this trend with at once assortments, quick turn chase orders and multi warp in season styling options.
So we stock what we sell, and because we make everything, we can quickly manufacture whatever styles and colors are selling best.
Our manufacturing model is designed to support at once orders and keep our retail partners in-stock.
