FAVORITE IN-CLASS ASSIGNMENTS

• Scavenger hunt- As tiring as the scavenger hunt was, it was my favorite because we had the opportunity to learn where each building was located at and at least we would know our way around on how to get there. As a freshman at Grayson this was a very helpful assignment in knowing that I wasn’t going to be completely lost when looking for a building. As well as, if we are going to go ahead and pay for college why not go ahead and use those helpful resources to get by our day.

• Learning how the brain works- It’s truly amazing to see how our brains work. Even though it does take time to take a grasp of something, we can practice over and over again until our brain gets it, to the point where it is second nature.

• Mastering self-Management – I had to see it myself before I could believe it. I was spending most of my time procrastinating and wasting time that I could’ve had to do more work. This was an awesome assignment because it made me realize on what I was doing with my time.

FAVORITE MODULE

• The reason why module 4 was my favorite was because, in this module I was able to realize on how I was spending my time. To me I would always take my time on social media or just chilling by the couch with not a care In the world. Whenever I came to realize that I was wasting my time was when we had been given a paper to calculate on how much actually time we had for studying. I was so disappointed that I had than less 4 hours to study each week, I couldn’t stand by throwing out my time out the window so I had to act once I knew what was going on.

THREE LESSONS THAT I WILL TAKE WITH ME

• The most important one that will always stick with me would be my time-management, learning how to deal with the situations I have in front of me.

• Second one would be how to be my own self-motivator, I won’t be able to succeed if I don’t have the right mindset for myself, I need to reach and focus on my own dreams so that they can become a reality.

• And last but not least ,accepting my own responsibility. I am aware that I need to take care of it, though it might frustrate me at point in time. Accepting it is far less worse than letting it get out of hand to late.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

• Before this course I would always tend to not worry about work or homework that I have not yet done. Putting me up to procrastinate even more as time went on. And thankfully because of this course I am able to realize the road I was taking was a bad one, the one to lead me astray from my goals. I am thankful that this was a requirement, because who knows if without it I might be lost on what to do if life decided to throw a big curveball at me.

• In the beginning like many others I was wondering on why I would need to take this course. As time went on I had realized the importance of it, I genuinely am grateful to have been apart of this class and letting myself grab all the knowledge that was given to me.

HIGHLIGHTS OF “LETTER TO THE NEXT CLASS”

• By procrastinating and thinking that I was fine, I had put myself in a situation in which eventually it came up to bite me back in the butt.

• Even though it was easier said than done I had to stop it, to stop believing that everything was in good shape, my grades were plummeting down.

• By starting out little by little, my grades in that class have gotten so much better than I could ever imagine

• This course has brought me more to my knowledge about procrastination, and that not only was I procrastinating, I was also having bad time management throughout the day.

HIGHLIGHTS OF “LETTER TO THE NEXT CLASS”

• Sometimes making a change can be freighting, to afraid that it would come up to be a fail. But sometimes making a small change could possibly change the way you look at things for the better.

• Many of us questioned ourselves why we need to take this class. Or have even thought this was to be an easy A, calling it a blowoff class

• In reality, this class has taught us to make better choices for our future and how to be able to handle what life has to throw at us.

• We are here to learn and put in our effort to continue on expanding our minds so we can become the successful people who we are meant to be.
