Crowdfunding: 20K needed to set up AnarkikCreations: website, commission new work, 3D print new stock, take on an intern to manage and market.Link:

Hello. I am Ann Marie Shillito. We are crowd funding to set up Anarkik Creations and need 20K to do this well. The new enterprise will present the innovative and distinctive 3D printed jewellery and accessories created by the artists and designers who use Anarkik3Ds haptic 3D modelling package. We want an online place to offer things which make you stand out from the crowd, a place for funky individuals who like to make a statement, not blend in.

Our designers not only use 3D digital technologies to design and make pieces, they complete and finish them by hand to individualise them. This is special to Anarkik Creations.1

Target of 20K : covers the cost of the rewards (9954); dedicated website (5500) as e-commerce platform & gathering place for growing community; commissioning new designs (1500); 3D printing & finishing new stock (1500); match funding for an intern (1500)..

My company is Anarkik3D and we develop this 3D modelling programme specifically for applied artists and designer makers for the way they work and to access 3D printing. Now we want to set up Anarkik Creations as a forum and selling point to promote the exciting work they are producing.

We envisage Anarkik Creations as a virtual gathering place for people who love to wear super statement pieces. We want a great website that will bring an enthusiastic and passionate community together, a place where we can make contact and meet the designers, buy and commission personal and corporate designs. The website will also be an e-commerce platform and online purchasing service to bring on new work and promote special offers.

We need cash to do this. Our target of 20K is for building this dedicated website, commissioning new designs, 3D printing new stock and covering the outlay on the rewards we are offering for your pledges. We have a great range of rewards comprising limited editions of jewellery as well as exclusive items which demonstrate the eclectic and diverse potential of Anarkik Creations for delivering exciting designs. We need your help to raise this sum. For more details please read on to learn more about us and see what we are about. 2

Our four targets to get done are : ~ a dedicated website to bring people together, ~ commission new designs and create new 3D printed stock to grow this enterprise,~ support to our designers: they paid their 3D printing to help kickstart this campaign. Elizabeth, Birgit and Genna, huge thanks to the three of you.~ build a community of like minded individuals to share thoughts and give feedback - become one of our 'Anarkik Angels' by supporting our crowdfunding!

We want you to help us to achieve this target by making a donation and nabbing a fabulous piece!

We want cash to commission new designs and to 3D print new stock to grow this exciting enterprise. We want to encourage our designers to work speculatively, to create new exciting and potentially risky pieces. They have already shown great commitment by making new work, getting pieces 3D printing, finished and photographed to help kickstart the campaign.

Elizabeth, Birgit and Genna, huge thanks to the three of you.

Crowdfunding is also about building a community of like-minded individuals who will give us vital feedback about the products we create and offer, the pricing levels, and others services you would like to have that we can give.

We are sure that we have something here that you like and that you will be prepared to help us achieve that target by making a donation.

Anarkik gives a sense of what we are about: breaking down boundaries of convention so that we can share our creative talents with you. Our pieces have been described as unconventional, quirky, different, individual, funky, desirable. In fact Stephen invented a new word, quunky being a mix of quirky and funky!

The word Anarkik can give you a sense of what we are about. Breaking down the boundaries of convention, the rigidity of the system, so that we can express our creative talents without fetter and to suit you.

Do you like this concept? Do you like to wear jewellery that shows you in a different light? That defines you? Here are Jori, Lavinia, Marie, and Ann-Maree Morrison, founder of labels4kids , wearing different models.

What we offer is the capability to produce something distinctive and essentially personal to you, something that defines you.

The good news is that we are at a relatively early stage and can offer you the opportunity to obtain some of these distinctive pieces ahead of the general market.

Our plan is to expand our range of select items in low volumes, which can be made available at readily affordable prices. We have already received a great response where we have tested the market, affirming that we have something here that people want. We can also offer the opportunity on a commission basis for individuals to participate in the design process to produce a piece which is unique to them, in which they can share in the emotion of being engaged from start to finish.

We have already had two corporate commissions. We provided thank you gifts for speakers at the Institute of Directors in Scotland Annual Conference and at the International Women`s day celebration at The University of Stirling.

The speakers were Ann-Maree Morrison, Managing Director and Founder (www.labels4kids.com), Carol Smillie, TV personality and Diary Doll co-founder, Hinda Miller, co-inventor of the worlds first sports bra, and Rachel Gunn of The Butterscotch Bakery. https://www.stir.ac.uk/news/2015/02/international-womens-day/ - See more at: http://www.anarkik3d.co.uk/gifts-for-celebrating-women-in-business/#sthash.JYe5FlL1.dpuf

Anarkik Creations distinctiveness. By using a remarkable and clever 3D haptic modelling software package our designers can create distinctive, innovative designs and exploit 3D printing to make them real.3D print materials include paper, plastics, resins, ceramic, glass, steel, bronze, aluminium, titanium and even silver and gold.

The work you see in our presentation, slides 10 to 30 shows how distinctive we are. Our gifted designers use Anarkik3Ds remarkable and clever 3D haptic modelling software package which enables us as designers to create distinctive, innovative designs for 3D printing. (Haptics means touch)

Some of you know me as a jeweller, as a teacher and enthusiast for digital technology such as 3D printing. Many of you also know me as the founder of Anarkik3D which develops this 3D haptic modelling software which has real-world 3D touch through usinghaptic technology and hardware. This modelling software product, Anarkik3D Design, gives designers a real sense of touch and feel to easily create and manipulate virtual 3D forms.Designers can develop their own styles as it gives them full rein to be creative in a way that you cannot readily do with CAD.

It is this freedom to work intuitively and organically that differentiates Anarkik Creations designers and their work from so much that is offered online.

With a digital 3D model we can exploit 3D printing to make things real. The designs can be produced in materials that you would not have imagined! Paper, plastics and resins, ceramic, glass, steel, bronze, nylon, aluminium, and titanium as well as cast in silver and gold.

As professional jewellers we are combining our designing and hand making skills with 3D digital technologies and have the capability to produce something distinctive and essentially personal to you, something which defines you.

We actually enjoy using Anarkik3Ds haptic 3D modelling software for designing exciting work (re. Birgits statement on slide 15.)Anarkik3D Design programme allows us to develop our own styles as this software is designed for artists like us - it does not constrain us to an engineering CAD aesthetic

We can make each piece unique to you regarding the type of piece, its size and colour.

I am Birgit Laken, jewellery designer from the Netherlands, working with Anarkik3d design package cloud9 since 2012.

I am very enthusiastic about this program,So good to have foundthis way to 3dprinting!

Birgit Laken is a jewellery designer and photographer from the Netherlands, working with Anarkik3D Design package Cloud9 since 2012. She is very enthusiastic about this program, and that it is so good to have found this way to get to 3D printing. What keeps coming back in her work, and which has become very important for her, is the strong, pure line. Through form, in which her ideas are expressed, she strives for a certain aesthetic. Birgit loves to be playful and humorous, she works with projects and choose subjects which move her. She hopes to share her passion with others, that she can pass on her idea and the special character of the used material or photographed subject. Her pieces are 3D printed in polyamide and dyed. She then works on each piece to pronounce and emphasise its character to make it unique. She hopes that what is giving here a kick can affect or surprise you.http://www.birgitlaken.nl/ http://klimt02.net/jewellers/7295

AnarkikAngels have the privilege of special offers and invitations to events. First is a party in Edinburgh celebrating a successful campaign (37). At this, have your picture taken wearing one of our pieces (38) to add to our fun Portrait Gallery to be hosted on a new website!

We invite you all to join our AnarkikAngel community (1) and receive emails for updates, special offers and invitations to events, the first being the party in Edinburgh (Reward no 37) to celebrate our successful Crowdfunding campaign.

At the 'End of Campaign' Party you can have your picture taken professionally wearing one of our quunky (quirky/funky) pieces and, if you want, to join our fun Portrait Gallery which will be hosted on the new website!

Last but definitely not least of our rewards is our wee angel (2) 3D printed in colour and just 43mm high. She sits on a ledge, there to look after you.32

The Crowdfunding type we have signed up for is where we get all that we raise (minus Crowdfunders %) and pledges are only collected at the end of the campaign.

Funds are paid to us at the end of the campaign. We will order all the 3D printed parts and as many pieces include hand work and finishing there will be a short delay in getting rewards out to their owners.

There will be no hold up with the jewellery already made and the one off pieces by Elizabeth.

If we raise funding beyond our target the extra will go to promote Anarkik Creations harder and more widely.
