listen.”2) We have 2 ears & only 1 tongue in order that we

may hear more & speak less.3) “Be a good listener. Your ears will never get you in

trouble.”4) “Knowledge speaks. But wisdom listens.”

Definition: Listening is receiving language through the ears. Identifying the sounds of speech & processing them into words & sentences.
