The Challenge….
• We’re CFT’s, we’re friends with our colleagues, we’re _____. We are not managers, we have no authority. How can we influence, how can we lead?
• What If…?• What have we possibly
overlooked?
• Who else should be a part of this?
• Ist the issue we’re talking about the real issue?
• Have You Considered…?• Can you help me understand
what you mean when you say ____?
• What must be done first?• Can we describe what success
looks like?• What can I do to help?
“Lead by Asking Questions”
• Aka “Lead with Bravery”– Embrace Responsibility– Own up to mistakes and
share your lessons learned.– Step up and take on new
responsibilities.– Get results.– Ask the tough questions.
•“Lead By Answering Why”•When you answer the Why questions, people gravitate to you for insight.•Answering the Why will help to influence and inspire others.
“Lead With Enthusiasm”•Emotions are Contagious.• Do you complain? Are you a
victim?• Are you flying under the
radar?
•We are drawn to passionate people that believe in what they do.• Even without Authority you
can raise the energy in the group and rally your region to a shared vision.
