Carlos is a Marketing Manager in a largemulti-national company in thePhilippines. He has been with thecompany for over 12 years and isconsidered to be one of the best in hisdepartment. Over the past few years, hehas traveled all the way from QC toMakati and leaves his home before 6amand arrives around 8pm everyday. Hiswife, Beth, is a Homemaker and theyhave 3 children. Because of his job, hehas provided all the needs of their familybut he just does not have the energy todo other things.

When he drives to his office everymorning, he often feels guilty as his kidsare still asleep. Worse, when he arriveshome he does not have the energy toplay with them and often shouts at thembecause he is exhausted from a longday’s work. His relationship with his wifeis also deteriorating as all he does is sleepand watch NBA games when he is athome. Often, Beth wants to talk to himbut even before she finishes her firstsentence, he is already snoring. Carlosknows that he is failing as a father andhusband but he can’t do anything as hefeels has so many responsibilities atwork.
