In the olden days

in the olden days they boiled up some warm water and poured it in a bowl to wash their clothes. Boys walk on the outside of the road. Ladies first to walk through doors.

in the olden days the boys always wore a top and pants. The girls always wore a dress.

Now we can wore what ever we won't like a skirt.

When they watched a movie it was black and white.

Now it is all different colours.

Back then they used a horse and carriage or they would walk.

Now we can go in the car or bus or walk

In the olden days they had sport like horse riding running and hopscotch.

Now we have other ones like net ball

In the olden days when they went to school they used the strap and the teachers were strict.

Now we have nice schools and the teachers are nice.

In the olden days there was a lot of work to do. You did the washing in a special way.

Now we have less jobs and we can get them done quicker.
