Harewood is situated near Harrogate & Leeds. The house and grounds are situated in the glorious village of Harewood. We will be travelling by 36 bus from Ripon to Harewood. This will takes us 20-30 minutes on the

bus.

• 12:00. Arrive at Harewood, visit All Saints Church before heading down to the grounds of Harewood and paying for Carer and 1 Student ticket.

• 12:30: Have Lunch

• 1:00-2:30: Look around the house and grounds

• 2:30-3pm: Shop for gifts and have a drink

• 3:30: Catch 36 Bus back to Ripon Station.

History of Harewood HouseHarewood House was first built in 1759 by Edward Lacessiors to Robert Adams. The architecture of

Harewood House was built by John Carr and Thomas Chippindale. The grounds & gardens were

made by Capabillity Brown. As you are walking around Harewood, you will see magnificent pictures of the family

and also see a fine collection of Serves chine with many other collections in the house.
