1. They're Better for Your Health:

Pesticides and the continuous use of fertilizers are known to be harmful to human health, and exposure is particularly concerning for young children and babies still in utero. Exposure has been linked to several serious diseases, including Alzheimer's, autism and leukemia. without the use of growth hormones or antibiotics. While the effects of long-term human exposure to GMO's is not widely known, there is evidence that they are harmful to the surrounding ecosystems and other living things, like animals. So, Why Do Organics Cost More?

One of the major deterrents for people who are thinking about switching to organic foods is that they cost more money. covered in wax or processed with nitrates, they tend to spoil more quickly than traditional foods. All of these things make it more expensive to produce organic foods. If you're on the fence about organic food, do a little research. When you next visit the grocery store, compare some prices to see how much more you will pay for organics, and whether or not you think it's worth it to make a larger investment in the food you buy and consume. And, don't forget to check out the selection of organic food online. You can often find much larger selections of products at competitive prices.
