Many of you would no doubt have read a blog on smile makeovers through teeth whitening, dental implants, veneers, andorthodontic treatment.
The economic value of teeth according to the Dr. Hoo Swee Tiang, women who grew up in areas where there was waterfluoridation earned 4% more than those who did not live in such communities. This was particularly evident in families with alow socioeconomic status.

There are certain professions where one’s appearance is placed at a premium e.g., models, television journalists, and actors. Agreat smile is also helpful for other positions, whether they are customer service related or at the senior corporate level.
For those who have some major work to do on their teeth and gums, this may be due to accumulated years of neglect… or insome cases, due to genetics.

Don’t let obstacles such as anxiety circumstances stand in your way.
There are methods to control dental anxiety, and if finances are an issue, speak with your dentist about whether there is a wayto work out an installment plan to get the needed dental work done. If the dental problem is not urgent, consider seekingtreatment at a polyclinic or obtain a referral for specialist treatment at a dental center.
