HealthMe
Problem
Support groups are necessary but difficult for people to attend regularly
The online support groups that are currently available are actually forums
Solution
A Social Network that can bring a clean look where people can have the same experience as being on a live support group
Validation"My group/s are wonderful. With out them, I was going
insane not knowing why I was deforming, and losing muscle
mass, and in 24/7, 7-9 pain levels w/ 10-20 10 peaks a
day” - one of the interviewed patients
"The communications and patient engagement landscape is moving fast. Keeping up and staying ahead of that curve is critical to patient communications, learning, revenue generation, and volunteer engagement. CCFA will expand the intelligence of our social/new media strategic initiatives to better reach and engage our constituents while building more general awareness about CCFA
and the impact of Crohn's and ulcerative colitis on patients and families. “ - Crohn’s Association of America
“I thought to be very interesting! With the little knowledge I have around those tools (online support communities), it will work very well as a support group, that we for now we are doing live.” Ana Celia - Brazilian Crohn’s Disease and Colitis Association (ABCD)
