Addinganewpatient

Select the “Patients” menu button in the top menu bar. Here you cansearchforpatientsbyenteringtextintothesearchbox.Searchbypatientname, ID number, or keyword. Patient files can then be accessed toupdate information. Collecting as much information as possible willprovide amore complete report and allowperfusionists tonote trends,allowingthemtoimprovepatientoutcomeandqualityofcare.Avarietyof subsections can be accessed via the sidebar on the right side of thescreen. Each item offers unique patient data organized within logical

CreatinganewcaseSelectthecasebuttoninthemenubaratthetopofthescreen.Chooseapatientfromthedrop-downboxandfillinthedetailslisted.Theavailableinformation, such as ID numbers, hospital, room, dates and admissionsource are logged here. Once this data has been added, select the savebuttonatthetopofthescreen,justbelowthemenu.Thentheusercangothrough the side menu, with options to log staff, equipment, supplies,complications,previousproceduresandmore.Themoreinformationthatiscollectedthemorepowerfulthedatabecomes.Analyzingthedatalatertoprovideinsightintotrendsandpatternsrequiresloggingasmuchdataaspossible.Usersareencouragedtologasmuchinformationaspossible,but it is not required. If documenting the case is all you need, simplycompletethefieldsrequiredtomeetyourindividualcasedocumentationrequirements.

Clickthedropdownmenutoviewalistofoptionstoselect.Onceyouselect a choice, the menu willcollapseretainingyourselection.

Either enter the dateMM/DD/YYYY or click thecalendariconinsidethetextboxtoopen the calendar view andmanuallyselectthedate.

Selectingthecorresponding“yes”radiobuttonwillenableaccesstodisabledmenus.Thedisabledmenuitemsarenotcollectedifthe“no”radiobuttonisselected.

Perfusion Pro collects this data live, andeliminates theneed for enteringdata after a longprocedure. The eventcollectionscreenisfullycustomizabletoyourgrouporindividualneeds,and can pull data from devices directly. Any information not extracted

Reports

Generatingreportsiseasy.SelecttheReportsbuttoninthemenubar,whichwilltakeyoutothereportingscreen.Choosewhichreportyouwouldliketouseontherightmenubar.Choosearecentcasefromthedropdownmenu,orsearchyourpreviouscasesbytypingkeywordsintothesearchbox.Onceyouhavechosenacase,presstheselectbuttonandthereportoptionswillbedisplayed.Datatobeincludedinthereportwillfilleachcorrespondingfield.Makeanylastminutechangesoraddanyadditionaldatayouwishtoincludeandthenpressthebuttonatthetopto“ViewReport”.ThereportwillbegeneratedasaPDFfile.

SelectingtheConfigSectionwillprovidealonglistofsidebaroptions.Userscanedithospitalinformation,equipment,supplies,staff,andothers.Labinformationcanbecustomizedanduserscanbuildcheckliststoensureproceduresarefollowedandcomplywithrulesandregulations.

UserscanconnectavarietyofequipmenttoPerfusionProfordatacollection.TheDatabuttonontheMenuBarleadstothesetupscreenforequipmentandallowstheusertointerfacewithotherapplicationsordevices.Oncethedevicedriversareloadedintothecomputer,theusercanthenconfigurethedevicetooperatewithPerfusionPro’sbuilt-indatacollection.PatientandCasedatacanbeconfiguredtooutputtoanothersystemorimportedfromotherapplications.
