ADVANTAGES OF CHOOSINGTOMOGUIDEIt is a minimally invasive placement of dental implants surgery solution using CAD/CAM from the DICOM language of tomography, which allows:

• Predictability: As planning takes place before the day ofsurgery, there are less surprises and unpredictable situations.

• Indicated: A flapless surgery that works both for patientspartially toothless and totally toothless, as well as early recovery. Provided the patient meets required post-surgery conditions.

• Greater satisfaction for all: combines ideal aesthetic planningwith dental impressions, and the precision of guided surgery, providing greater satisfaction to patients with professional treatment.

• Less surgical time: pre-planning and our innovativefirst class guide system allows significantly reduced operating time, resulting in a shorter surgical time and mild post-operative discomfort, without lift flaps.

• Accuracy and precision: surgery guided by CAD/CAM technique. It allows the surgeon to execute this procedure with extremely high precision, obtaining the best results.

• Professional management: our team is professional and technically assists in theCAD planning of the surgery.

• Data management: with a click interact with us taking advantage of theinternet, orders are shipped, managed and tracked online. Guides are produced and are shipped in a matter of days to your office.

Double scanning method

Tomographic images are the main tool to perform a surgery assisted with computer (CAD), since with these images we can faithfully reproduce the 3D structure to analyze the patient.Using the double scanning technique, our design department, is able to create 3D objects from DICOM images obtained from upper jaw and palate, upper-mouth impression and/or radiographic Guide, allowing the designer to merge, overlap, or separate them at will.

WAYS TO SHARE DICOM FILES WITH TOMOGUIDE S.A.S

DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) is the standard recognized worldwide for the exchange of medical tests, designed for handling, display, storage, printing and transmission. It includes the definition of a format file and a network communication protocol. The communication protocol is an application protocol that uses TCP/IP for communication between systems. DICOM files can be exchanged between two entities that have capacity to receive images and data from patients in DICOM format.DICOM enables the integration of scanners, servers, workstations, printers and network hardware from multiple vendors within a storage system and communication of images. Different machines, servers, and workstations have a DICOM conformance statement which clearly states the DICOM classes that are supported. DICOM has been widely adopted by hospitals and is making a foray into small offices of dentists and doctors.

WHAT IS A DICOM FILE ?

Tomoguide S.A.S offers an official account to share Dicom files quickly and safely for display and work on Google Drive, SkyDrive and Dropbox.

For more information consult www.tomoguide.com for the entire process of registration and how to send Dicom files for processing at Tomoguide S.A.S

C.A.D Virtual planning

Computer aided design (CAD) is the use of computational tools supported in hardware and software that enable our designers from the CT language DICOM to perform virtual surgery, obtaining the virtual axis of the implant placed within the 3D mandible or maxilla, and from that axis, the surgical stereolithography (CAM) guide is designed, to produce the finished product requested by the implantologist.

These tools can be basically divided into 2D images and 3D modeling. 2D images are based on vectors such as points, lines, arcs and polygons, geometric entities that can be operated via a graphical interface. 3D Models add surfaces and solids.

At the time of design, you can associate to each stereolithography model or surgical guide a number of properties such as color, coat, style line, name, geometric definition, material, etc., which allows you to manage the information in a logical way.

MAILING OF SURGICAL GUIDESOur average delivery time is 4-7 days. After having been approved, the CAD design of the surgical Guide is shipped by recorded mail to the address of the dental surgery.

FABRICATION GUIDE SURGICAL STEREOLITHOGRAPHY CAM (COMPUTER AIDED MANUFACTURING)

The STL file, is sent to our stereo-lithographic print Center, making the surgical guide of the patient. Our technology provides precision, and the ability of precise duplication with twin guides and dimensional stability in time (long-lasting).
