After years of applied research, AMI has developed O.U.I.™, a device which represents
the evolution of the “Cavitation” concept and introduces O.U.I. (Osmosi Ultrasonica
Inversa, i.e. Ultrasound Inverted Osmosis), a synthesis of AMI’s engineering and
university laboratories’ research for the treatment of localized adiposity.
O.U.I.™ is the result of an important research between private industry and university
laboratories in the field of not invasive technologies for the treatment of body beauty
challenges: the most effective and technologically advanced solution, available today
in aesthetic medicine.

The research evolution in the ultrasound use on human body has allowed
to go over the “cavitation” concept, adding to this phenomenon the
contribution of O.U.I. ULTRASOUND INVERTED OSMOSIS , an innovative
system with ultrasound waves which permits a progressive increase of
cytoplasmic membrane permeability, determining the osmotic outpour of
triglyceride content, with consequent adipocyte loss.
The particular AMI design represents a perfect and harmonious union
between Hi-tech and Italian style, a prestigious and compact device which
contains the most sophisticated technology actually on the market in the
stable cavitation treatment.
Moderate dimensions, operator friendly, easy to transport, are the principal
characteristics that facilitate doctors’ work in medical office.
An easy consulting display, completely touch screen, synthesizes a very
sophisticated software and different and complete working programs in
an essential number of controls.
ULTRASOUND INVERTED OSMOSIS
By the term ULTRASOUND INVERTED OSMOSIS we define the biological and physical phenomenon due to the strength of the ultrasound beam once penetrated into the adipose tissue. This phenomenon, in fact, following the sinusoidal movement of the ultrasonic energy, and then the pressure and decompression components, gives the adipocyte membrane a gradual increase in its permeability and the consequent outpour of triglycerides content.

Operator friendly and powerful, it is the most important component of this device and it allows a safe and customizable use for the operator to obtain the best performances from its sophisticated hardware. It has different working levels (from extremely easy to highly articulated parameters).
THE MICROPROCESSORAMI’s research team has developed a very effective processor with an internal development system to coordinate, study and control the physiologicalparameters.
THE HANDPROBESThe particular ergonomics of the handprobe, result of the team work between engineers and orthopaedic operators, allows and effective and optimal grip. The handprobes are available with three different geometrical shapes: flat, concave and convex which allow to work at different depths. They are built in order to resist to solicitations induced by continuous frequency variations during the treatment.
