E-MED 1400 & E-MED 1200 - the smart choiceThe E-MED 1400 four section patient trolley and the E-MED 1200 two section patient trolleys operate with a smooth, adjustable height range of 56-88cm, easily adjusted using dual sided foot controls. The trolleys have been developed specifically to allow straightforward interface with medical and diagnostic devices, including radiological equipment and c-arm x-ray intensifiers.The E-MED trolleys provide:

• Wide lying surface

• Minimal transfer gap with no lateral protrusions

• Full length x-ray cassette options

• A range of optional push handles to ensure trolleys meet clinical needs

Total radio-transparency - X-Ray capabilitiesThe special patient platform is totally radio transparent, and the open construction of the trolley beneath the platform enables x-ray and imaging equipment to be operated either above or below the full length of the patient. Special chromed runners fitted along the trolley are designed so that x-ray cassettes can be inserted down the entire length of the trolley.

In addition, the backrest section can be configured to allow patient cassettes to be inserted into specially designed channels on the underside, to simplify access for chest x-rays on patients in the sitting position.

C-arm x-ray image intensifier can be inserted from both sides of the trolley with ease and moved through the full length of the x-ray translucent patient platform in order to achieve the desired image.

E-MED trolleys come with special antistatic mattresses designed for optimum patient comfort, even in the event of extended observation use.

Total flexibility & manoeuvrabilityThe E-Med 1400 and 1200 patient trolleys feature cleverly contoured bumper bars and a smooth, streamlined profile. When combined with the infinitely variable height function, these design features allow the E-Med trolleys to be positioned closely alongside medical and diagnostic devices, simplifying treatment processes for both patient and healthcare worker.

In addition, the optional folding push handles located at the head or foot can be retracted completely within the frame of the trolleys, opening out the operational area still further.
