Do you know how to safely store and dispose of your prescription drugs?
Nearly 1 out of 4 grandparents say they store prescription meds in easy-access places.
18% of grandparents keep over-the-counter medicines in easily-to-reach spots.
NEVER tell children that medication is candy to get them to take it, even if your child does not like taking it.
More than 60,000 young children a year end up in the ER because they got into medication while their parent/caregiver was not looking.
Protect medications like you would cash. NEVER leave medicines or vitamins out.
Keep your medication LOCKED UP!
Dispose of Unused Medication
If you no longer need to take a prescription medication, don’t hang on to it.
