I could see the broken soul,The tears in her eyes,The fear in her heart,She wanted to trust, She wanted to believe,She wanted to live,But she had trusted earlier, and paid heavily for the trust she had laid in people she loved,She deserved to live and really live,Not die everyday,She had dared trust and paid heavily.
She held her moms hand and asked her,Where did I go wrong?Did I do something wrong?Mom promptly put a finger on her daughter’s lips,And said SHHHHHHHHHHHH…Don’t say anything to anyone,People don’t want to hear you, You will become a part of newspaper clippings only,You need to live.
If you tell people what happened,They will make you feel ashamed,They will call you a brave heart,And they will fight their abuse through you,They will kill you with words, looks and fear.
LIVE, MY CHILD, BUT BE SILENT TODAY, TOMORROWand FOREVER,That’s the only way to live,That’s is the only way to live.I have also lived in hiding,I also went through what you went through in silence,For people are still not ready to dealwith broken souls.
I wanted to be understood, not ridiculed,I wanted to be loved, not called a brave heart,I wanted to belong, not be condoned,Today I give you my silence to protect you,In silence we understand each other perfectly,Our souls belong to the souls of the children of silence.

THINKING POINTS“Is it a coincidence that less than 100 years ago girls married at the age of 12 years and
today girls less then 12 years are getting abducted, raped and sold for flesh trade?
Have things really changed?”

Abuse only ended when I was 11 years old
Life became a question mark
Why did my mother not choose to see anything?Am I not important? Its happening in front of them, do they approve of it?Should I tell them anything?Am I a bad girl?Did I do something wrong?
Pattern repeated again in the next generation and inolder generation beforeThese are incompletestories that nature tries to complete by repeating the pattern

words could ever speak. Today together let us take a pledge to
