…make 3 costly divorce mistakes.
These are based on my Amazon book, “9 Secrets a Man Needs to
Know to Survive a Divorce.”
The first costly mistake: NOT seeing an attorney ASAP once a marriage
gets rocky.
And the second: NOT taking care of your finances.
Here’s the third: NOT taking good care of yourself.
You need to be healthy to deal with your divorce.
Easier said than done, I know. But exercising, eating well and getting
sleep are…
…absolutely mandatory to deal with the rigors you face getting
“uncoupled” from your ex-to-be.
For starters, do anything you can do to exercise 30 minutes (at least)
4-5 days a week.
In terms of nutrition, stay away from fast food junk and heavy
drinking.
Finally, make sure you get 7-8 hours of sleep a night.
It is very hard to turn off your mind when it’s engaged…
…about dealing with a major life event. (And divorce is one of
them!)
Without sleep, you will not be mentally sharp when you talk with
your attorney.
And you won’t be emotionally stable when you perform your job.
If need be, talk to your doctor and request a nighttime sleep aid.
