Raster management

Geodatabase

e.g. landslide studing needs to analyze a lots of different kind of data:

Monitoring data

Borehole and geotechnical data

Hystorical and archive data

Field survey infromation

Data interconnection in a geodatabase

We try to automatise as much as as possible all repeating spatial analysis.
After geometry digitalization Postgres derive the main statistics, like:

Permanent scatterers movement data;

Landslide interaction with good, buildings and facilities

Other data such as boreholes, monitoring systems, landuse, rainfall data ecc..

Complex symbolgy

Complex geometry

Full integration with PG/PGIS

Poor integration with Spatialite

Huge infrastructure projects

Builders of huge infrastructure require very structured monitoring plans, that last for several years thousands of measurements taken every month, seldom every week

data from must be shared and accessible to all colleagues

analysis and reports on weekly, monthly and annual basis

Data organization

The database contains: master data infrastructure

master data monitoring

Description of Monitored environmental components

Description of measurement points

Values of measures

With data you can:To manage time schedule compliance

To avoid twice measures

To highlight data anomalies

What do we measure

Monitored environmental components

Water (river and underground water);

Air (PM10, Nox, etc.);

Noise (from traffic and from construction site);

Asbestos;

Ionizing radiations (from rocks);

Soils;

Vegetation;

Fauna.

Every measure has its geographic information: Point, line, polygon

Other instruments

Raster analysis and topological controls

Statistical analysis

Vector analysis

The real strength of GFOSS: ERIKUS

Centro Italia 24/08/2016 a 6.0 Mw earthquake

ERIKUS

ERIKUS is a QGIS project to help to collect data on evaluation of the buildings after an earthquake. It was tested during a simulation test on 3 municipalities at june 2016.

After the Centro Italia earthquake DPCN asks to use it on the field.Now more than 70 municipalities collect data with ERIKUS.
