“The first person to live to 150 has already been born. And, it’s not crazy to say that anymore. It used to be, 10 years ago.” – David A. Sinclair, Ph.D. Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging

"There are only four kinds of people in the world: Those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, those who will need caregivers."– Rosalynn Carter

HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES Headquartered in Southern Utah, the HUNTSMAN WORLD SENIOR GAMES, as it is

known today, began in 1987 as the World Senior Games. This international senior sports competition was founded by Daisy and John H. Morgan, Jr., the Games began with their vision of an international sports event for men and women ages 55 or older. Both agreed that the golden years were better when good health and physical fitness become a way of life, not just an occasional hobby.

Each year the Games host more competitors than the Olympics. 76 countries have participated since its beginning. Last years direct economic impact was nearly 16 million dollars. Includes 27 athletic events over a two-week period each October. Peace among nations is fostered through friendly competition.

The Games promote health by providing life saving health screenings for cancer-breast and prostate. Screenings also detect other serious health threats--glaucoma, diabetes, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, and decreased bone density. You're invited to participate and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Huntsman World Senior Games this October 3rd -15th 2016.
