What are the main drivers for change of the CAP
1.Societal expectations;
2.Climate Change;
3.Structural Changes;
4.International Trade;
5.Functioning of the Markets.
EU policies must
1. Ensure a competitive agricultural sector;
2. Guarantee a sustainable agro-food chain;
3. Contribute to functioning partnerships along the food chain in EU and global markets – farmers share in EU consumer and trade euro is in decline;
4. Contribute to deliver food security.
