What is the SUN Business Network?The Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network (SBN) aims to mobilize and intensify business efforts in support of the SUN Movement and to ensure all people realize their right to good food and nutrition.

Two goals:

1. Build a global platform for business to commit to scaling up nutrition– diverse membership of food, non-food, multinational and local business to the network

2. Support SUN Countries to engage with business within a multi-stakeholder, country-owned, approach to scaling up nutrition

Governance:

• ConveneD by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, GAIN and the UN World Food Programme, UN WFP

• Secretariat• Advisory Group, co–chaired by Feike Sijbesma, CEO Royal DSM and Axton Salim, Indofood

SBN’s Global Platform Commitments from business• 125 million consumers, each year, by 2020• Case studies across industries• 129 companies – 38 multinationals, 91 national
