Many volunteer organizations in India depend on large numbers of volunteers. Either they work on daily basis for the organization or work for a particular event, but in every way it takes planning and finesse to effectively coordinate their efforts and make the most of your volunteer’s generous efforts.
Divide the whole task as set of specific tasks and distribute it among your team members.
Give clear instruction about the specific task and also discuss about difficult points which will be faced while doing that volunteer work in India.
Give tag to individual group, so other can identify them easily
Allow for scheduled, short breaks, and make sure that people have access to water, snacks, and a bathroom during these times.
Provide phone number or a walkie-talkie to communicate with you and other group for any help.
Appriciate your volunteers team while doing any extraordinary work, but always encourage them.
Remember that these people are volunteers. Do not force or demand that volunteers do something; ask. Also, keep requirements such as training time, total time commitment, and volunteer-supplied materials reasonable. Do not over-burden volunteers if you want them to return and continue to help. Proper planning can help you to run volunteers organization in a perfect manner.
