Original situation



Goal: create better access

Program consisting of 3 projects :

Conversion of all special collections metadata to OCLC’s Union Catalogue,

1 system for cataloguing all collections

Service digitisation on demand, built on PRIMO

View requests of all special collections through our catalogue (no paper slips)


Step 1:Conversion of the metadata to OCLC’s union Catalogue• Separate records for physical and

digital objects• In separate batches• With links to the scans in DigiTool• New formats were created

• Create order buttons in our catalogue (PRIMO)
