• Ability to adapt coaching techniques to build leadership skills in girls.

• Understand the developmental characteristics of older girls and know how to support them.

• Feel comfortable in guiding girls through earning badges and journeys utilizing council resources, events and trips.

• Understand the requirements and can coach girls through the processes to earn the Bronze, Silver and Gold Award.

Award Requirements

Bronze Award for Juniors:• 20+ hours per girl as a team• Completion of Junior Journey and Take Action project

Silver Award for Cadettes: • 50+ hours per girl as a team (2-4) or individually• Completion of Cadette Journey and Take Action project

Gold Award for Seniors and Ambassadors: • 80+ hours individually• Completion of Silver Award and Senior/Ambassador
