Why Altitude Milk ?

• At higher altitude, the cows receive less oxygen than lowland cows. The consequence is that at 2000 meters, energy needs, just to survive, are doubled which creates a steep increase in their demand for calories. But instead of consuming more resources, the animals consume less, resulting in a much reduced milk production per cow of around 40% when compared to lowland cows.

The highest nutritional values

• This altitude milk contains more polyunsaturated fat acids and it is particularly rich in omega-3. These fats or lipids are especially known to decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease.

• In addition this milk has a high content + .of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) that may have a preventive effect against cancer and diabetes.
