International Bios forums


Bios forums is a versatile competition of ecological projects which was organized for school students, students and graduate students of various regions of Russia and Foreign participants.

There was carried out 17 International Bios forums in which 8500 school students, students and graduate students from 20 regions of Russia and 7 Foreign countries participated.

Research competition


Research competition is a representation and protection of researches on ten sections with preliminary reviewing.

Works are distributed on the following sections: 1. Ecological assessment of a state of environment; 2. Problems of protection of flora; 3. Problems of protection of fauna; 4. Hydrobiological and hydrochemical researches of

water ecosystems; 5. Medical and social environmental problems; 6. The international cooperation in the field of BIO - a

surrounding medium; 7. Research of a condition of natural ecosystems; 8. Solid household and industrial wastes; 9. Instrumental researches of a surrounding medium; 10. Ecological safety of production.

Musical festival


Within a musical festival international youth Bios Forum there take place performances of creative vocal and instrumental and choreographic collectives, and also solo performances of young talents.

The musical festival is "highlight" of opening Bios forum. It's not only the disturbing moments for participants, and also good mood for all present at a hall.

Personal and team competition


In Bios Olympiad is held personal and team competition on research techniques of the surrounding medium, held in Central Park of Kirov ("Yelagin island").

Includes following station:•environmental monitoring, •chemistry of a surrounding medium, •common ecology, •ecosystems and mains circuits, •social ecology.

Scientific conference


At scientific conference results of practical ecological and social researches and development on bio - a surrounding medium, and also the theoretical and survey works reflecting extent of participation and the modern level of achievements of youth in the field of environment protection are considered and discussed. The special attention will be paid to questions of the international cooperation on problems of protection of waters in the directions:

•ecology of water resources and population health•efficient partnership in formation of the

modern control systems by transboundary water resources.

Bios school


Bios school is exit ecological camp in which participants investigate an ecological condition of water objects of St. Petersburg: select samples, carry out the hydrochemical and hydrobiological analysis, listen to lectures, prepare and protect the works.

Was carried out 57 Interregional with the international participation Bios schools in which more than 1800 school students and students was shared.

Field works


In Bios school sample are selected in lakes and the rivers of St.Petersburg and the Leningrad region for the subsequent hydrobiological and hydrochemical analyses.

Closing conference


Everyone Bios school comes to the end with conference at which the participant of camp present results of work on the direction. To all participants who have executed the program of researches, upon termination of Bios school certificates and diplomas of the international exemplar are handed over. Besides participants of Bios school can present the works and on Bios Olympiad.

Ecological seminars


Ecological seminars organize on bases of various educational institutions of St. Petersburg and Regions of Russia for school students and teachers.

More than 30 exit ecological seminars with engaging of professors of leading universities of St. Petersburg are held.

International cooperation


The ecological club participated in 19 International youth ecological projects in the territory: Franciums, Ireland, Poland, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus. 45 people shared in actions from club in these actions.

Participation in city actions


The ecological club systematically participates in the following programs:

•Youth wave in Lenexpo;• Youth competition Enaktus;• Round table of Youth movements of St.

Petersburg;•Ecology of the big city;•Forum professional body height; •Competition of the essay "Volunteering

and Volunteering in Europe and Russia";•Exhibition labor protection. Fire and

ecological safety.More than 100 people shared in these

actions.

Consultations in ecological questions


Having high scientific and practical potential participants of ecological club hold consultations in ecology, namely:

1. Conduct an ecological database of characteristic researches since 1993, containing information on 43 water objects on 25 indexes

2. Participate in training seminars3. Give ecological classes at schools
