• The waste generally generated from day today life is organic which is mostly in liquidform.
• Now here the problem comes to treat thisliquid waste in economical and efficient way.
• Convenctional methods used to treat thiswaste water were not providing economy andefficiency at the same time.
• To overcome this problem fluidized bedreactor is used which not only treats the wastewater but also generates usable bio products.
Many municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities
are facing many difficulties during the treatment process.
Waste water contains high BOD value and low DO value which can't be treated efficiently with standard treatment methods.

Fluidized Bed Biofilm Reactor – A
Novel Wastewater Treatment Reactor
By considering the advantages ofFBBR, it suits in the modernmethods of wastewater treatment.FBBRs can maintain a high effectiveconcentration of microorganismsand provides stability against shockand toxic load. Today, the load ofpollutants in natural water bodieshas increased manifold. There aretwo possible solutions to theproblem.

Predicting the Minimum Fluidization
Velocity of Algal Biomass Bed
In this study, the minimum fluidization velocity of algal biomass beds was found experimentally and then compared with the calculated value that obtained using Ergun equation. The experimental minimum fluidization velocities were found to be 2.27 and 3.64 mm/s for mesh sizes of 0.4-0.6 and 0.6-1 mm particles diameters, respectively

PROCESS: AN
OVERVIEW S
It was observed that the different
system parameters affect the
hydrodynamic behavior of the bed
thereby affecting the IFB process. The
main objective of this study is to
concern the biomass growth onto the
solid carrier which will be useful for
treatment of the industrial effluents
