System Boundary “End of Waste State”
Module D recognises the “design for reuse, recycling and recovery” concept for buildings by indicating the potential benefits of avoided future use of primary materials and fuels while taking into account the loads associated with the recycling and recovery processes beyond the system boundary.

Revised Mandate for TC350 Standardsto align as PEF for Construction Products
• Mandatory declaration of modules C and D in EPD, with rules covering the “impossibility” of this for some products, e.g. those that do not “maintain their physical identity” through the life cycle, such as cement.
• The preferable option is the development of a European scenario for the typical end of life route.
• Plus optional additional scenarios for products for specific markets.
• Tighter requirements for on secondary data quality• More indicators (e.g. water scarcity)• B2C communication and benchmarking based on
• Functional Units• Weighted data
