Canned Hunting

A canned hunt is a trophy hunt in which an animal is

kept in a confined area, such as in fenced-in area,

increasing the likelihood of the hunter obtaining a

kill.

The term “canned hunt” refers to the shooting of

exotic animals on game farms or hunting ranches that

are in the business of breeding or buying exotic

animals so that “hunters” can pay to be guaranteed a

kill.
