WHO WOULD BE THE AUDIENCE FOR MY MEDIA

PRODUCT?

Age and gender

The gender of my target audience would be males and females however, dominantly males. The reason for this is because “REWIND” consist of a lot of actions, suspense and tension which male characters are more fond of. Also, due to the main character being a female, it grabs the male audiences attention as they are more likely to be attracted towards a female character . However, “REWIND” would also attract females as my target audience due to the main character being played by a female. The reason behind this is because the female audience are more likely to feel connected towards a female character and as a result engages the audiences attention.

The age of my target audience would be 17 – 26. The reason behind this is because “REWIND” contains some shots that is very inappropriate for ages under 17 and as a result can cause mental illnesses such as mood disorder.

“REWIND” targets middle class people, who go to the cinema on a Saturday or Sunday for a thrill.
