In Wellington the population in 2006 was 179,466.

What important building does Wellington have?

Wellington is the capital of NZ. The beehive is a parliament building in Wellington. It is named after its shape. They started building it in 1969 and they finished it in 1980.

What celebrations does Wellington have?

Wellington celebrates Bastille day. Its on the 14 of July celebrated in the boat shed in Wellington. Its France’s national holiday, its all about the stoning of Bastille. Festivities held in the morning.
