The Runic Troops “3 Troop Types that receive bonuses in Runic
Megalith Events”
Foot Soldier Dragoon Longbowman
To avoid any confusion, you can use these troops in ALL aspects of the game,
thus in PvP, cresting, raiding etc. The additional bonus for these troops is that
when a Runic Megalith event is live, these troops have the following extra
bonus;
Skills Gains a 20% boost to Attack, Defense, Life, Speed, and
Range when defending a Runic Megalith.
In addition to that they are classed as “Rare Troops”. With a minor exception that
Players can craft daily 5 troop bundles of each Troop via the Spire. But other than
that it is a money Troop, thus if you want great quantities you will need to buy
troop boxes or get them as bundles in Events like Boss Battles.
“This boost only applies when defending the Megalith, not when attacking one”
Defending a Megalith
As additional help, besides Arcane Bonuses you can activate these Shop
items as well for help on Defense.
20% boost to Attack, Defense, Life,
Speed, and Range when defending a Runic Megalith
That’s why the values show in green (boosted)
Crafting. Crafting daily 5 troop bundles of each troop is possible via the Spire. As an
ingredient you will need Alliance gifted troops.
Gifted Archer bundles, via Alliance gifting can be turned in Longbow men.
Gifted Pikemen bundles, via Alliance gifting can be turned in Foot Soldiers.
Gifted Heavy Cavalry bundles, via Alliance gifting can be turned in Dragoons.
So to be noted is, that in order to craft you need the gifted bundles intact in
inventory.
You cannot turn/convert Archers, Pikemen and Heavy Cavalry that are in cities
or different troop bundles, into the new troops
You can set auto daily Crafting too of the 5 new troop bundles in PowerBot+
under the Crafting Tab.
Troop Stats. The 3 new troops have strong base stats compared with the other troops.

The Longbowman
will be engaged
very quickly. But
The Foot soldier &
Dragoon are at the
very end of the list.
This gives them an
advantage.
When you look at each of the 3 new Troops, you see when have you reviewed the
above that they have strong base stats.
Consistently you see them rank high in Attack, Defense, Life. And more balanced
in Range and Speed.
Certainly the high LIFE stats on Foot Soldiers and Dragoons are dangerous
attributes. It’s in general better to have some percentage of Life in any TR and
more valuable then (too much) Defense.
Dragoons, are the logical evolution of Light Cavalry, Heavy Cavalry and Hussars as
you can see in the progression of the stats. Again heavy Life stats.
Only the Sidhe Corruptor is different, Combat Speed wise & Attack wise. The role
& use of the Sidhe Corruptor is also different than the “Classic” Cavalry. Even
though the Sidhe is also a horsed troop. As where the Sidhe is Ranked N° 2 in the
Priority List and will draw immediate fire, the Dragoon is ranked N° 34.
The other Horsed troops ranked N° 16,17,18. So if you want to “protect” the
Dragoons, send along the other 4 Horsed Troops with Dragoons.
Light Cavalry
Heavy Cavalry
Sidhe Corruptor
Hussar
The Longbowman, by far has the strongest stats, of all Ranged Troops Certainly
Range wise.
Priority wise LBM, will be targeted before the other Ranged Troops.
Flame Archer
Archer
Sharing is knowledge, and a lot of players are not sharing. Yes, it gives you and edge, or advantage, but
it leaves also many people clueless. The objective of these tutorials, is to teach, learn, educate players so ALL players have
a better under understanding of the game. The more players participate, the better the overall experience is for all players.
More attacking and defending means “lively” domains full of activity.
